6 long months I've been stuck in that godforsaken place. But it seems that I've been noticed now, a team of Arachnos soldiers raided The Zig. Of course I took my cue when the doors unlocked, and found that one of my old gang was also in the block. I escaped through the sewer network and found out that the whole thing had been set up for me.Sakai Tamaki told me that Lord Recluse himself asked for me by name. He, on the other hand, wasn't too sure. So he asked me to dispatch a few of the prisoners and guards to prove myself. Of course that was easy and he suggested that I visit the Arachnos Pilot that was running the operation. I got to him easily but he also wanted to test me. I mean - seriously - I'm supposed to be a "Destined One" (whatever that means) and they've all seen my past. Why don't they just trust me? But I went and found Jenkins, helped to free him (not before he told Longbow who I was of course!), and set a bomb that facilitated our escape.
The pilot then suggested that I go and see Kalinda the Fortunata who knows all about this "Destined One" stuff, but I remembered when I arrived in Mercy Isle that one of my former contacts friends had found his way to the Isles. So I decided to see Matthew Burke.
Of course I'm a bit out of practice at the moment, so I decided to work on my gun handling first, so I took out a few Snakes. I'll see Matthew when I'm confident that I'm back to form...
